Creating Playlists

Playlist Elements

The playlist editor provides a drag and drop interface to simple build the playlists by dragging a playlist element from left into the playlist on the right side of the interface.

Content picker can be dragged and dropped in to a playlist at the required position

The content picker allows user to search and select content by name or type.

Clicking + will add a second content picker immediately after the current position

Clicking the delete icon removes the content from the playlist

Pattern can be dragged in to a playlist to insert black space and define the duration in the playlist.

Blocks are placeholders in a playlists used by Preshow module to insert content based on rules

Playlist picker is used to add an existing playlists with the open playlist

Intermission allows an intermission to be created within the playlist.

Macro picker is used to add macros to the playlist

+ New Playlist

It is recommend to start a new playlist by first selecting the feature CPL, then applying the appropriate playlist template, adding other content and saving the named playlist.

Macros

Macros are site specific and added by the installer of your system.

Special Macros

A series of predefined macros with special functions are available.

End Credits

Adds the macro End Credits macro defined here

The End Credits macro is inserted at the Endcredits timecode defined for the feature CPL

Entry Point

Used with Jump Point macro and marks the position in a CPL to jump to when skipping content.

First Show Start

Used together with Last Show End to insert specific macro if the gap between shows is longer than defined by feature.booking.automation.firstLastGap=0 20

If gap between shows is shorter then this macro is only inserted for the first show of a the day. A typical use would be to keep lamp on if gap between shows is short.

Jump Point

Used with Entry Point and marks the start of a jump forward with a CPL to skip some content

Last Show End

Used together with First Show Start to insert specific macro if the gap between shows is longer than defined by feature.booking.automation.firstLastGap=0 20

If gap between shows is shorter then this macro is only inserted for the last show of a the day. A typical use would be to keep lamp on if gap between shows is short.

Show Offset

Marks the position in the playlist anchored POS start time
